The homeless initiative was started in 2009 by two of the Redhill Street Pastors
management team at the request of the Reigate and Banstead Council
to address the presence of homeless people in the Redhill town
centre. Initially, a Homeless Drop-in was opened in the Salvation
Army Hall in Lower Bridge Road. The drop-in is staffed by volunteers
from the local churches who supported the Redhill Street Pastors
initiative. They were inspired by Matthew Chapter 25:40 that 'whatever
you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did
for me' and encouraged by Isaiah 58 to 'feed the hungry and shelter
the homeless'. HOPE2540 was born.

but long term for only £400.00. With your help
we can change someone's life and provide hope and
